ICEC-08 Instructions for Accepted Papers

Copyright Form

The standard ACM copyright form (Part A) must be signed and returned with your paper, in addition to the copyright message which should appear on the bottom left column on the fist page of each article (see below). It is important that this form is signed as the ACM will not publish any paper that is not accompanied by a SIGNED copyright form. For jointly authored papers, only the principal coauthor needs to sign. The ACM will assume that the signing coauthor does so with the authorization of the remaining coauthors.

Please fax a SIGNED copyright form to:

Formatting

Accepted papers must be formatted as described for the initial submission for publication. Page limits are 10 pages for full papers, and 4 pages limit on short papers. The Tighter Alternate style (Option 2) should be used to format the paper. In addition, the following information should follow the copyright block at the bottom of the left column on the first page:

"Permission to make digital or hard copies of all or part of this work for
personal or classroom use is granted without fee provided that copies are
not made or distributed for profit or commercial advantage and that copies
bear this notice and the full citation on the first page. To copy otherwise, to
republish, to post on servers or to redistribute to lists, requires prior specific
permission and/or a fee.
10th Int. Conf. on Electronic Commerce (ICEC) ’08 Innsbruck, Austria
Copyright 2008 ACM 978-1-60558-075-3/08/08 ...$5.00."

This can be included by inserting the following fragment in the latex file:

\documentclass{sig-alternate}

\begin{document}
%
% --- Author Metadata here ---
\conferenceinfo{10th Int. Conf. on Electronic Commerce (ICEC)}{'08 Innsbruck, Austria}
\CopyrightYear{2008}
\crdata{978-1-60558-075-3/08/08}
% --- End of Author Metadata ---

Users of Word or other text processing software should ensure that their documents also follow the style files/templates with copyright strip and fill in their title and author information. Please, also note that we need formatting for American letter paper size and take care of an appropriate formatting of the bibliography. Your submission must be without page numbers.

Mandatory Sections:

The mandatory sections of the ACM styles are also mandatory for ICEC 2008 papers as the papers will be available via the ACM digital library. According to ACM: “these index terms effect the ease and accuracy of retrieval within the Digital Library which ultimately benefits authors by allowing for greater distribution of their work”. Thus, although it may not be trivial to find the appropriate classification information, you should make an effort filling these sections:

Categories & Subject Descriptors.

Keywords:

Camera ready due date: June 30th, 2008.

You MUST upload your final camera ready copy to the ICEC EasyChair system. Papers must be re-uploaded as a revised version of the original submission by June 30th at the latest.
